Give the City of Brotherly Love a standing ovation: The internationally renowned TKTS ticket booth service has arrived in Philly.

The discount ticket counter offers an unbeatable deal: 30% to 50% off tickets to select live theater and performing arts shows within 72 hours of the performance.

Philly’s $3.3 billion performing arts industry spans stage, orchestral, dance, opera and comedy productions — and TKTS is your ticket to a great show, whether you’re into critically acclaimed Broadway theater, intimate local works or cutting-edge experimental performances.

The TKTS Philadelphia booth is now open at the Independence Visitor Center.

Available showtimes are updated daily on the Philadelphia Visitor Corporations Center’s website.

What is TKTS?

TKTS is a long-standing program that sells last-minute tickets for music, dance and the performing arts shows at deeply discounted prices.

Famed for its iconic Times Square location in New York City, TKTS has expanded to only three other cities in the world: Tokyo, London and now Philadelphia.

TKTS makes access to performing arts more affordable and has been introducing theater to wider audiences for over 50 years.

TKTS Philadelphia is a partnership between Visit Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation and the Theatre Development Fund.

How do I get discounted tickets?

Like the TKTS booth in New York, all ticket sales are in-person only.

You can buy tickets inside the Independence Visitor Center (located at 599 Market Street) daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The TKTS counter is located at the first booth from the Market Street entrance.

Once inside, check the screen to see what’s available and then simply talk to the attendant about which show you’d like to see.
