Overview

Experience three incredible days of great music and all-ages fun at the annual XPoNential Music Festival on the Camden Riverfront.

Produced by Philadelphia’s beloved public radio station WXPN, the musical extravaganza — held just across the Delaware River in New Jersey — features performances by dozens of local and national artists on three different stages.

The festival goes down at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion and Wiggins Park, venues that offer spectacular waterfront views and lush open green spaces.

This year’s festival runs from September 16-18, 2022.

The Experience

The festival features dozens of indie up-and-comers and established bands.

Each year, the XPoNential Music Festival lineup features dozens of indie up-and-comers and established bands and musicians heard on WXPN 88.5FM, the award-winning Philadelphia public radio station.

The 2022 festival is led by Philly-born band gone worldwide, The War on Drugs, and the iconic Patti Smith, both performing on Friday night at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion.

More than 25 additional artists and bands perform over the three-day fest, with highlights for 2022 including Taj Mahal, Geese, Felice Brothers, Bartees Strange, Lucinda Williams, Snacktime, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Kathleen Edwards and Jenny Lewis.

In addition to multiple stages of musical acts, the festival includes family-oriented activities throughout the area around Wiggins Park, and various food and craft vendors.

Getting There & Tickets

The RiverLink Ferry leaves from Penn’s Landing and brings visitors directly to Wiggins Park.

Guests can also take the PATCO High Speed Line to City Hall Station in Camden.
